Overview

DoThis provides Daily Plans, workout generation and tracking, food logging, AI coaching, goals, and progress tools. This policy explains the information the app may collect, how it is used, and how to contact us.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the app, DoThis may collect account information, onboarding answers, goals, workout and sport schedules, workout and set logs, exercise preferences, food logs, weigh-ins, energy and recovery check-ins, soreness or pain feedback, barcode or food search activity, coach messages, subscription status, app diagnostics, bug reports, and support messages. This information is provided directly by you, generated through your use of app features, or received from Apple and RevenueCat for account and subscription access.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide Daily Plans, workout generation and tracking, nutrition targets, food logging, coaching, goals, and progress history. For example, DoThis may use the goal, schedule, energy, workout history, food history, equipment, preferences, or soreness information you share to answer a Coach question or create a requested plan. We also use information for Preview and subscription access, support, safety improvements, product analytics, and bug fixes.

AI Features

Some app features use OpenAI to generate or summarize fitness and nutrition guidance. When you consent to use these features, DoThis may send the text you enter and relevant profile, goal, schedule, workout, food, weight, energy, recovery, preference, or coaching context needed to answer your request. DoThis does not send every piece of account history with every request. Avoid entering sensitive medical or personal information that you do not want processed for app functionality.

Premium Preview and Subscriptions

DoThis stores limited access-status information needed to provide the one-time 7-day Premium Preview and prevent it from restarting. The Preview requires no payment and does not charge automatically. Paid purchases and subscription management are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. DoThis receives subscription status information needed to unlock Premium features, but does not store your full payment card details.

Advertising Measurement and Tracking

DoThis uses the TikTok App Events SDK to measure whether TikTok advertisements lead to app installs or app launches and to understand the performance of our advertising campaigns. For this purpose, the SDK may send TikTok limited app-interaction, device, app, session, and network information, including an advertising identifier such as Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) when you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. TikTok processes this information under its Privacy Policy and applicable Business Products (Data) Terms.

We use these signals for advertising attribution, campaign measurement, analytics, and our own advertising or marketing. The TikTok integration is configured to send automatic install and app-launch events only. Automatic payment tracking, retention tracking, and enhanced data postback are disabled. We do not intentionally send TikTok your fitness or health information, workout or food logs, weight data, Coach messages, contact details, subscription or purchase details, or payment information through this integration.

On iOS, you can decline the tracking request without losing access to DoThis. You can review or change this permission later in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. When permission is not granted, Apple does not make the IDFA available for tracking. Apple privacy-preserving attribution features may still provide aggregated campaign measurement that does not identify you to DoThis.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain records, resolve issues, improve safety, and comply with legal obligations. You can delete cloud account data from Settings or request support by emailing help@dothiscoach.com. After cloud account data is deleted, a minimal non-fitness access-eligibility record may remain so the one-time Premium Preview cannot restart.
